COURSE DESCRIPTION

Join us for a fun filled day of echo in critical care!

Learning:

1. basic and advanced echo views

2. How to get good images in the supine patient

3. How to use echo to enhance your diagnosis and management of the patient with hypotension, chest pain and circulatory failure

Image review:

Go through multitudes of clinical case images to improve your recognition of pathology

Scanning:

1. Models to learn how to optimise your imaging

2. Patients with pathology to learn to recognise pathology

SIM and quiz:

Finally, end the day testing your new found skills at interractive SIM sessions and image review.
